The 17th Project Fair and Competition Held with Extensive Participation

The 17th annual "Engineering Faculty Project Fair and Competition," where senior students showcase the culmination of their four-year academic journey through capstone projects, was held on Tuesday, May 28, at the School of Foreign Languages (YDYO) Foyer. The event drew significant interest from Engineering Faculty students across all levels, distinguished academics, and prominent industry representatives.

The presence of Vice Rectors Prof. Onur KAYA and Prof. Yunus ÖZDEMİR, Dean of the Faculty of Engineering Prof. Hanife APAYDIN ÖZKAN, and the President of the Eskişehir Chamber of Industry (ESO), Mr. Celalettin KESİKBAŞ, further bolstered the students' enthusiasm and their aspirations for the future.

Following the opening remarks by Dean Prof. Hanife APAYDIN ÖZKAN, Vice Rector Prof. Onur KAYA expressed profound confidence in the students, emphasizing that the university would continue to support them throughout their professional careers. Furthermore, ESO President Celalettin KESİKBAŞ highlighted the critical importance of university-industry collaboration, noting its pivotal role in driving innovation and economic growth.

A total of 210 projects were showcased during the competition, including 71 "Undergraduate Research Projects" and 36 "Industry-Oriented Undergraduate Research Projects" supported by TÜBİTAK. This highly productive event, which featured booths from 12 companies and representatives from nearly 20 firms, concluded with an award ceremony for the winning project teams and a commemorative photo session.

The award-winning projects will have the opportunity to present their work to a broader industrial audience at the "Industry Meeting" event organized by ESO on Friday, May 30.
